ID-SOS reserves the right to change the Privacy Policy from time to time at its sole discretion. Your use of this site will be subject to the most current version of the Privacy Policy at the time of such use.

Your Personal Information  

When you subscribe and register details with ID-SOS, order 'Products' i.e. the ID card or you will be given the opportunity to store certain information such as your name, email address, contact telephone numbers, date of birth, images, documents and other personal data at the same time you are accepting membership of WHIS ( World health innovation summit ) and sharing with them the same information and same rights to use it as outlined in this policy.    

The purpose of the ID card and online profile is to make information available to the public about yourself and can be accessed by reading the card or accessing the online profile page via the QR code.  

The secondary use of this card is a membership card for WHIS with any benefits provided through this organisation.  

 Access to enter and edit details in the online profile section are protected by a user set password and login.   

As all data is entered by the subscriber any information that the subscriber considers confidential and does not wish to enter the public domain should not be entered.   

You will also, by default provide information about your usage of our website (for example, the URL you came from, IP address, your browser type and the pages of our website that were viewed during your visit) ('Your Information').  

The information we collect, hold and process will be used for the purpose of providing you with ID-SOS services and developing our business which shall include (without limitation):  

A verifying your identity (for example when you return to the Website);  

B personalising your visits to the Website to improve the services provided to you;  

C informing you about the latest changes to the Website, or products, services or promotional offers that you might find interesting;  

D customer service and support;  

E enabling you to share your content with others e.g. using the Email a friend and social network sharing functionality;  

F communicating (and personalising such communication) with you;  

G conducting market research; and/or  

H carrying out technical and statistical analysis to measure the performance of our services and the Website.  

 

ID-SOS utilises a Merchant Services Facility and does not keep a record of credit/debit card details.  

How We Use Your Personal Information  

ID-SOS uses any information stored by users, to administer the website. On the website, details in the public areas of are visible when accessing the online profile.  

We may also use information to inform customers about special offers, new products, services, promotions, and other similar information which may be of interest.  

Occasionally we may contact customers by email, post or telephone using details as provided at the time of registration or order placement. Customers are able to unsubscribe from receiving notifications from ID-SOS, by contacting us at contact@id-sos.org or using one of the "Unsubscribe" links on our emails.  

ID-SOS recognises and appreciates the importance of responsible use of information collected through the ID-SOS website.  

We will use information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and any other laws or regulations currently in force in the United Kingdom (the "Data Protection Legislation").  

Disclosure of Information to Third Parties  

ID-SOS does not provide, sell or rent your information to any third party other than the WHIS organisation , but reserves the right to provide aggregated data to third parties for statistical analysis. Such data is anonymous in nature and cannot be linked to any particular individuals.  

We do not disclose your information to third parties other than the WHIS organisation without consent unless legally required to do so or where such disclosure is necessary to enable third parties who act for us to process your order. Third parties that process information, fulfil and deliver orders, process credit card payments and provide support services do so on our behalf under individual agreements.  

Upon registration with ID-SOS or placement of an order on the ID-SOS website customers confirm that they do not consider any of the uses of the information described above as being a breach of any of the rights conferred under the Data Protection Legislation.  

Information Security Management  

We employ security measures to protect customer information and personal data from being accessed by unauthorised persons and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage. However, while we take all reasonable steps to protect customer information, customers accept that no Internet data transmission can be guaranteed to be secure from access by unintended recipients and customers will not hold us liable for any breach of security unless this is due to our negligence.  

We will retain customer information for the subscribed period or as long as the law requires.  

Utilisation of cookies  

In order to improve our site, we may use 'cookies' to track customer visits and to process orders. A cookie is a small amount of data that is transferred to the customer's browser by a Web server and can only be read by the server that gave it to the customer.
